Jesus Christ has continued pursuing His bride. "And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. " (John 6:39)
We observe the Holy Spirit breaking down religious strongholds of the enemy; it's powerful. Christians are blessed to assist the Lord in this kingdom expansion. Few things can be more fulfilling than seeing someone bound up in religious bondage find truth and freedom in Jesus.
Unfortunately, a "typical" approach to evangelism rarely works for those trapped in religion.
After analyzing our journey and that of other former Mormons (plus other sects), we realized the primary way the Lord breaks through, and how he empowers believers to assist.

MIND OF CHRIST

Believers in Jesus Christ have an assurance of salvation (1 John 5:13); what a stunning reality. Most believers have a sense of how remarkable Heaven will be; no sickness or sorrow, an abundance of joy, the presence of the Father, and "all things made new" (Rev 21:5).
But between accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior and eternal glory with God, there tends to be a gap. As a Mormon, I used to argue with Christians about this gap. I saw many professing believers living a lukewarm walk with the Lord.
Jesus (in the gospels) and Paul (in the letters) gives us a powerful invitation to experience more of Heaven on Earth; the righteousness, peace, and joy of the Lord. This Kingdom reality is only so-real for too many of our family in Christ.
Life plays itself out in our hearts and minds. Much of this gap is the result of layers of beliefs about God, ourselves, others, and circumstances, that don't line up with Heaven's truth. For lots of reasons, we aren't even aware of these belief layers (ideas and perceptions).
The Mind of Christ workshop is a fresh drink of living water. You'll find out how to experience more of Heaven on Earth. You will learn how to realize what Jesus and Paul were offering when they promised righteousness, peace, and joy, plus a renewed heart and mind (Eh 4:23).
TO MORE GOD
A wide-open testimony of Jesus' pursuit after devoted, faithful, and bound-up Mormons.
"They will overcome him by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony." (Rev 12: 11)
Every Christian has a testimony; the story of how the Lord has impacted their lives. Each, no matter how dramatic, is powerful and unique.
Some say the word testimony means, do it again; a declaration of faith that Jesus can and will accomplish a similar act of redemption and restoration in others. Jesus is the Word that became flesh (John 1:14). And "... then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17). Simply by hearing the testimony of who Jesus has been to others, increases our faith for Him to do it again.
Our personal testimony walks through the faithful pursuit of Christ chasing after our hearts.
You'll hear us openly share the battle we faced when the Lord asked us to surrender all to Him. You'll experience the authentic telling of how the Lord redeemed our brokenness of sexual addiction, pride, poverty mentality, self-hatred, depression, eating disorder, suicidal thoughts, disconnected marriage, our religious parenting, and more. You'll be exposed to how Jesus broke through our religious veneer and brought us to freedom in Christ alone.
Jesus will be exalted and the power, presence, and love of God will be experienced.
ONE FLESH
A leap into the joy of true intimacy and the journey of a one-flesh, fully-known marriage.
The word of God is full of promises for His children. Unfortunately, many of these promises aren't realized to their potential.
One of our favorite grace gifts the Lord offers is that a husband and wife shall become one-flesh.
We used to think we had an idea what that meant, then we discovered we were clueless; lost to what Father God intends for a one-flesh marriage. Unaware of what real intimacy is and how to experience it. Ignorant to the idea and beauty of a fully-known marriage.
We appeared to have it all figured out. Successfully married for a dozen years and a handful of cute kids to show for it. Then Jesus grabs our hearts and asked if He alone could have them as His. Within months everything began to change. Lord took us on a journey of death and resurrection. The Holy Spirit gave us revelations that transformed our entire outlook on our relationship.
In this workshop, married couples and singles will learn a biblical perspective on the relationship depth of a one-flesh marriage. You'll be invited to discover how to take your marriage or future marriage to a joy-filled level of Heavenly intimacy. You'll see how the grace and the mercy of Jesus Christ are able to heal all hurts and clear the path to a peaceful and loving marriage.
